Through this process, I wanted to reflect on the power of relationships that slowly seep in over time, rather than reacting quickly. I believe that such time can be an opportunity to look back on the experiences accumulated in each person\u2019s life and, furthermore, to look back on one\u2019s own life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The materials used in the work are also deeply connected to my memories. Natural dyes such as earth, yellow clay, and ink with various colors, as well as artificial dyes, were added to color each sheet of traditional Korean paper, and bamboo, which grows abundantly in the southern provinces, became the main objects of this work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In particular, the old branches of the bamboo fence of the house in Damyang where I stayed for a long time in the past, seep into the work and blend in with it as traces of the past space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The purpose of the work goes beyond simple creation to make myself happy, but I think the ultimate goal is to comfort someone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If we find some commonalities between the message conveyed by the work and the emotions felt by those who look at it, I think we can share empathy and comfort there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n April 2025, in the neighborhood of clouds and forests under Mt.
